About me

Let's jump straight in. As a freelance copywriter based in Sheffield, I've been writing powerful words that really speak to audiences for three years now.

Following an MA in English and an MSc in Business, my career took some interesting detours in the private and public sectors before I realised being a copywriter was for me. But all these experiences contributed to the skills, understanding and creativity that I can bring to your project.

Writing great copy

It starts with getting to know what you do, where your business is at present and what you're trying to achieve. How does it end? With a great final product that gets the results you want.

I bring my own experience, commitment and enthusiasm to every project. I'll also do enough research to get up to speed with what's happening in your industry. And finally, I'll need as much input from you as you have time to give.

My specialist experience

There are some topics I just know inside out:

• Web design and marketing - many successful copy projects completed and a ton of practical experience to boot.
• New technology - I'm great at handling complex terminology and finding simple benefits in difficult concepts.
• Property and estate agency - from estate agency web copy to luxury property brochures, I've written the lot.
• Music - as a keen guitar player and fan of everything from Ravel to Animal Collective, I have plenty to contribute here.
